Yes – we would be happy to arrange an BIV Clinic update visit at your practice by a BIV representative.
Visits can be accommodated Monday to Friday with some exceptions made for outside of office hours visits. Please contact us.
We welcome the opportunity to give Doctors a tour of our clinic. It is also a great opportunity for Doctors to see the equipment we use and to meet the entire team. Please contact us for further information.
If you would like your patient to see a specific specialist at the Clinic please ask that they request this when making their appointment. We always guarantee patients with urgent issues can be seen by a specialist within 48 hours.
Correlation of all findings will be performed by the multidisciplinary team and communicated directly to your patients at the end of their visit. When necessary the Breast Physician will contact you on the day your patient visits. A full report is sent to referring doctors within 1-3 days of the patient’s appointment.
Can I Access my Patient's Imaging
Upon request from either the patient and/or referring practitioner, we will provide a copy of the imaging (via disc) free of charge. Just ensure that you tick ‘Y’ to the question, 'Copy of our imaging requested for patients,' on the referral form.
We are currently working on providing SECURE Online Access, which should be available in the near future.
BIV is able to deliver results to referring practitioners via post, fax, email or secure electronic messaging services such as Argus or HealthLink. Just indicate your preference on the imaging request slip or referral form.
If you would like to receive correspondence and imaging reports electronically from us, please call 03 9419 6766 or email us .
